Bonus Questions: A Second Chance to Level Up
Thanks to your feedback, we’ve made a big improvement to how practice exercises work. Students who miss just one question now get a bonus question. If they answer it correctly, they can still earn “Proficient.” Before this change, one wrong answer meant not earning Proficient, even if a student clearly knew their stuff. Now they’ve got a second chance to show what they know!
Assignment Improvements: Simplifying the Process for Teachers

Preview Assignments Before You Assign
You can now preview any Khanmigo Assignment before sending it to your students. This allows you to see exactly what your students will experience—helping you feel confident and prepared before hitting “assign.”
Easily Customize and Share Assignments
Khanmigo Assignments are now even more flexible! You can customize assignments to fit your classroom needs and quickly assign them to your students using a simple quick link.

Writing Coach Updates: Flexible Essay Feedback and Revision
Khan Academy Writing Coach now offers greater flexibility, letting teachers and students focus on feedback and revision. Teachers can now assign just the revision step, and students can get instant feedback on pre-written drafts from Khanmigo.
New and updated content and courses to assign to your class
Revised AP Physics Course
Our AP Physics 1 course has been thoroughly updated to match the College Board’s latest Course and Exam Description (CED)! The course now covers all eight major units, including topics like kinematics, forces, rotational dynamics, oscillations, and fluids. These features help you save time while preparing your students for success on the AP exam and beyond.
New High School Biology Unit Guides
Thanks to support from the Amgen Foundation, our new unit guides make implementing Khan Academy’s biology course a breeze. They’re packed with expert teaching strategies, real-world phenomena, and tips for tackling misconceptions. Find them in the “Teacher resources” unit or “Teacher resources (NGSS)” course.
