iOS 18.2, which will expand Apple Intelligence add new features including Genmoji, Image Playgrounds and ChatGPT integration for Siri, and more is rumored to launch during the first week in December — earlier than Apple typical releases new software during the month of December.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, barring any unexpected delays, Apple has the week of December 2nd pinned down for the release of iOS 18.2, bringing Apple Intelligence to localized English in the U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
The update will also introduce ChatGPT integration to Siri, the Image Playground app to create AI-made images, and custom Genmoji emoji.
In his report, Gurman says he expects iOS 18.4 to be released in April with additional Apple Intelligence features for Siri, such as personal context and on-screen awareness.
