BBC Learning Hub is a new free global education platform created by BBC Studios to support teachers, students, and families with engaging educational resources. It features more than 1,000 multimedia materials, including educational video clips, standards-aligned lesson plans, student activities, and accessible reading passages. The platform is designed to engage learners from pre-K through 12th grade across a wide range of subjects.
Rooted in the BBC’s legacy of award-winning journalism and storytelling, the Learning Hub offers dynamic content from acclaimed programs. These resources give educators ready-to-use tools that save time and spark curiosity, critical thinking, and deeper learning in students.
To support diverse learning needs, the platform includes student articles available at three different levels, along with free printable activities that encourage creativity and hands-on engagement. It also explores essential future-focused topics such as sustainability, financial literacy, and global citizenship—helping students build the skills they need to thrive in a changing world.
Launching first in the United States with plans for global expansion, BBC Learning Hub builds on the success of BBC Bitesize in the UK. The platform’s mission is to enhance both classroom teaching and at-home learning by making high-quality educational content freely available, anytime and anywhere. Learn more.
