Apple has expanded its annual Back to School promotion to students in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Mexico, following its initial sale in the United States and Canada last month. This year’s offer includes a free Apple gift card with the purchase of an eligible Mac or iPad, plus a 20% discount on AppleCare+ plans for students.
In the United Kingdom, higher education students and educators can receive a £120 gift card when they buy a new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or iMac. Purchases of the M4 iPad Pro, M2 iPad Air, or Mac mini come with an £80 gift card. These gift cards can be used for Apple products and accessories, App Store apps, subscriptions like Apple Music, iCloud+ storage, and more.
In most other countries, Apple is giving away AirPods with every Mac purchase and an Apple Pencil with every iPad purchase through its education stores.
The Back to School promotion is available through Apple’s online education store and Apple Store locations. It is open to students attending or accepted to higher-education institutions, faculty, staff, parents buying for students, K-12 institution employees, and select others. The U.S. promotion runs until September 30, with similar end dates anticipated in other regions.
Apple’s standard educational discounts of approximately 5% to 10% off most Macs and iPads remain in effect.
