Apple has officially released the public betas for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26 Tahoe, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26, allowing users across all supported devices to try out the latest software updates before their official release later this year.
This marks the first time that public testers can get hands-on with the new features and changes across Apple’s entire ecosystem. The public betas are now available for download via the Apple Beta Software Program, with users able to install them on their devices and provide feedback to Apple.
iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 bring significant updates, including the new Liquid Glass aesthetic, enhanced widgets, and a more intelligent Lock Screen. macOS 26 Tahoe introduces a refined interface, tighter integration with iPadOS, and improved multitasking features. Meanwhile, watchOS 26 offers new health and fitness tracking features, and tvOS 26 includes new content discovery features and performance enhancements.
For visionOS 26, Apple is rolling out early access to users with compatible Vision Pro devices.
As with all public betas, users should be aware that these updates are still in development, meaning there could be bugs or other issues. Apple recommends installing the public betas on secondary devices to avoid disruptions in daily usage.
