by Wire Tech

In a recent report by The New York Times, it was claimed that Apple is in the process of implementing a substantial reimagining of its digital assistant, Siri, set to be revealed at the forthcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.

The new Siri upgrade is all set to tap into the power of generative AI, making conversations feel more natural and expanding its range of useful commands.

According to the report, Apple’s plan involves a mix of improving up their own AI server power with Apple Silicon chips and possibly teaming up with Google to use their Gemini backend for certain tasks.

WWDC will take place from Monday, June 10 through Thursday, June 14, with the main keynote taking place at the beginning of the week on June 10, which is when the iPhone maker is expected to announce iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, and macOS 15, in addition to the second-generation version of its visionOS software for Apple Vision Pro.
