Apple’s official Clear Case for the iPhone 17 Pro may be getting a redesign, according to images shared by leaker MajinBu. The alleged packaging and case show that the accessory will no longer be fully transparent, as previous versions were.
Instead of the familiar small white circle marking the MagSafe coil, the new design features a large white rounded rectangle covering much of the back of the case. This area surrounds the MagSafe system, leaving only the edges of the device fully transparent.
MajinBu suggests the redesign ties into Apple’s upcoming Crossbody Strap, which he previously leaked alongside new “TechWoven” cases. The strap would let users attach a loop to the case and wear the iPhone across the body, around the neck, or on the wrist.
According to the leaker, Apple also tested tinted transparent prototypes of the case, which could be reserved for limited seasonal editions. Additional improvements reportedly include anti-yellowing technology to maintain clarity over time and a larger cutout to accommodate the widely rumored camera bump that spans nearly the entire width of the device
