Apple has released iOS 26.0.1, a minor update that delivers important bug fixes and security improvements for iPhone and iPad users.
According to Apple, the update addresses an issue that could cause Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections to unexpectedly drop on the new iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models. It also fixes a bug in the Photos app that could produce “unexpected artifacts” in images taken under certain lighting conditions.
The update can be installed over the air by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update on eligible devices.
For users unable to upgrade to iOS 26, Apple has also released iOS 18.7.1, which provides similar security fixes for older iPhones and iPads.
